Luma Clinic Türkiye is the data controller under Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”). This notice covers admission, appointments and health-tourism processes at the clinic and on https://lumaclinicturkiye.com.

Categories of data
Identity (name), contact (phone, email, country), patient process (appointment, requested treatment, message), health data (complaint, photos, doctor notes — with explicit consent), security (technical logs and essential cookies) and, where needed, travel or hotel coordination data.
Purposes and legal grounds
Purposes: pre-assessment and booking, treatment planning, organising international patients, invoicing and legal archives, information security.
Grounds: KVKK Art. 5/2 (contract, legal obligation, legitimate interest) and, for health data, Art. 6 (explicit consent and processing by authorised persons for healthcare).
Transfers
Data may be transferred, as far as the service requires, to doctors and staff, lab and imaging partners, hotel/transfer suppliers, email and hosting providers, and public authorities when the law requires it.
Transfers abroad take place only at the patient’s request (for example their own email provider) or with a legal basis and suitable safeguards.
Collection
We collect data through web forms, email, phone, WhatsApp, in-clinic registration and records made during treatment.
Retention
Health records follow statutory minimums and the clinic archive policy. Appointment requests are kept for as long as the process and possible legal claims require, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
Rights under KVKK Art. 11
You may learn whether your data are processed, request information, learn whether they are used for the stated purpose, know the third parties they are transferred to, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction under Art. 7, ask that correction or deletion be notified to recipients, object to a result against you that is produced solely by automated systems, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
How to apply
Send requests to info@lumaclinicturkiye.com or in writing to the clinic address. Applications that meet the KVKK communiqué are answered within thirty days after identity is confirmed.
If we refuse a request, we will state the reason and your right to complain to the Personal Data Protection Board.
