Upper-lid surgery removes skin that can weigh on the gaze. Lower lids are assessed for bags and hollows together; not every bag is removed, or the eye can look empty.
Recovery is often shorter than a facelift. Bruising and swelling in the first days are still expected.
If a low brow is the real issue, taking lid skin alone is not enough. That distinction is made at consultation.
