All-on-4 implant planning

Implants

Who is All-on-4 for?

In a fully edentulous jaw, a fixed prosthesis on four implants is more stable than a palate denture. Not every jaw suits the same protocol.

All-on-4 implant planning

All-on-4 places a fixed prosthesis on four implants in a jaw that is edentulous or needs extractions. The aim is fewer implants and temporary teeth on the same day when it is safe.

Suitability depends on bone volume, the sinus and general health. Heavy smoking, uncontrolled diabetes or weak bone can shift the plan to All-on-6 or a grafted approach.

Treatment has two stages: surgery with a temporary prosthesis, then the final prosthesis after healing. That calendar is shared in writing at the first consultation.
