What should you watch after teeth whitening?

In-clinic whitening lightens enamel in a controlled way. Early sensitivity and colour settling are expected, not lasting damage.

Teeth whitening treatment

Professional whitening is dosed and timed by the dentist, unlike home strips. The aim is a lighter shade without harming enamel. Veneers and crowns do not bleach; their colour is planned separately.

Short-term sensitivity and colour settling are normal. Staining food and drink are limited for the first 48 hours.

Whitening is not a substitute for smile design on its own. If shape or a chipped edge is the issue, it is planned with veneers.
